Default RE: Tiger Day 2012...begin the countdown to Bovington

This video was first posted yesterday on the UKTC forum and it’s good to see the inertia starter fitted, I’m also glad to see the Tiger running again I will be at Bovington for the tank fest with other members of RAG

Unfortunately the same weekend 31 Märch and Arbeitseinsatz im Deutschen Panzermuseum Munster und Aktionstag this is when we help clean the museum and run our tanks outside.

22-25 March Karlsruhe the first large model show in Germany I will be attending with RAG

18-22 April Dortmund model show this is the largest in Europe with all the custom parts suppliers attending again I will be at this event with RAG

There are also many museum’s in Normandy I haven’t got a list but there are over 100

In Belgium there are museum’s in Oostende these are the Atlantic wall bunkers there are also anti-tank bunkers inland
Museum’s
La Roche- on Ardenne
La Gleize with the Tiger II
Baugnez (Bonyea) this museum has a lot of high quality items taken from all over Europe the sight also has the memorial on the opposite side of the road.
Poteau, you can have a ride in an M3 halftrack providing there is enough interest
Henri Chapelle (Onri Shapelle) cemetery

There are a few others but these are the main ones in Belgium if you are going to go into Luxemburg then avoid the Patton museum this mainly about the annexation of Luxemburg and the fact that there men were conscripted for service in the German Army they have 2 rooms of relics and a small room dedicated to Pattern

There is obviously sections of the Siegfried line scattered across Europe find a place that suits you and in Germany there is HĂĽrtgenwald
