RE: Brushless motor not running - just beeping
Maybe an ad on for E-flite esc's, and getting them to arm, at least in my situation.
I had purchased the E-flite airliner, equipped it with the Eflite motors and 30 amp Pro esc's.
The only way I could get the esc's to arm was to have the throttle on the tx (Multiplex EVO) set to WOT when I plugged in the packs. I'd then get a single tone, and immediately had to move the throttle to off. Then I would get the rest of the arming tones, and the motors would spin up just like they should.
If I tried any other sequence I'd get nothing. Using a Hitec 6 rx, I tried every type of adjustment on the tx to change the arming. End points did nothing, reversing only had the tx stick working backwards. Would arm starting out at off, then going to WOT, but the off position was then at the top of the tx and WOT was at the bottom.
Since I didn't fly it often, and forgetting sometimes the sequence to arm it, I finally wrote the sequence on the back of a business card and taped it to the battery tray.
Not the best way to correct it, but this year the liner got an overhaul. New fans, motors, esc's. And the card with the arming instructions got taped to the two esc's and tossed into the spares box.
