RE: Does Giving away planes Have a Reward?
Good for you ES Control!
After some 35 years in this hobby, some things just collect dust and take up room. Good karma is so cool.
My neighbor and I constantly help each other out with glue, retracts or what ever.
Years ago I too Donated a .40 size Fun One. To a newbie who had been stuck flying the same old trainer, do to lack of funds. He progressed so quickly and made us all feel we would see him in the winners circle very soon. He went off to college and today he is a USAF pilot.
Little did he know I got the plane. My club mates at the Whidbey Island WA club, who after seeing me crash 3 planes one month, presented it to me. One guy had the wings, another had the fuse and a third had the engine. I recovered it all in bright red and flew it till I was well past it.
This hobby is so cool and the friendships last a long time.
You are doing the right thing and never second guess your kindness.
