I have recently noticed that Combat Fliers wear Hard Hats, and it makes me wonder...

Seeing as how the rest of their attire is comprised of shorts and a T-Shirt, a hard hat would do little to protect you if you were hit by a plane. Therefore, the hard hat must simply be worn to signify the fact that they are Combat Fliers.

Then I got to thinking...

Since there are many different aspects of the R/C hobby, maybe we should ALL wear some article of clothing to signify which field we participate in.

For example... The guys that fly 1/2a could wear a hat like this:




While the giant scale fliers could wear...



Maybe Pylon fliers would like something that looks fast!



While the Sport flier would prefer a more casual look...



The Jet heads would need something with a turbine...
