Expand on that (no pun intended ).

What foam did you use? How did you apply, how did you know when it is enough, etc...

I too have considered foaming in my wings on some jets such as the Boomerang XL, maybe my MB339. Perhaps my F22. I have always been concerned that too much foam may expand in an undesirable way causing stress fractures, etc...and it could always become VERY messy if not done right!

I thought of attaching a flexible line like tygon or polypropylene to the foam can and getting those hard to reach areas in wings and stabilizers. Sort of like a "Fix-a-Flat" canister for our cars flat tires. Seems like a gamble and perhaps a weight penalty.

What foam did you use? How did you apply? Got any photos?
