They would have never put a diesel head on a Quickie .40 engine. It might work, but the nature of the engine was all out racing performance. it would not be useable as a sport engine.
Why wouldn't a quick racing engine work with a diesel head?
I have read about high timed MVVS engines that have diesel heads on them and they work fine in control line stunt models.
Is it assumed that this engine is to be used in an RC model?
