I think you could be fine for 3 or 4 flights on a fully charged 4.8V 600 mAh battery....but I like some insurance so I'd probably get a 6V 1100 mAh Nickle metal....
Heck when the radios came with 4.8v 600mah, we could fly all day on a plane with only four servos. On some of my basic planes today I fly with the Hobbico NiMh 4.8v 750mah and never have a problem.
