I didn't notice it was a Nano, I assumed the bigger model not the 44 powered version.
I can speak first hand here for Springairs, have them on my Bobcat 50. The wire legs
have taken a real pounding from all sorts of fields, same result, if you bend a leg just
straighten it out & keep flying.
The standard Springair wire is just the right hardness, fine for normal use but they bend
if you make a real mess of a landing without breaking any retract parts or ripping the gear
out. Failsafe for loss of pressure - not needed, the spring drives them down & locked on
pressure loss. Simpified hook up, half the number of air lines & seals to leak.
We don't use brakes on these smaller jets, no real problems. Standard, cheapo model wheels
are good enough too. - John.
