sorry about the tempertantrumi had yesterday. but today is a new day and i am feeling much better. anyhow for right now i made a new pad out of some pressed cardboarduntilthe one comes from HPI. now i just need to find some shims for the rear diff.. anyone know how much shimming i should do?
Use the shims that are already there, and move one from the diff cup side and just move it to the ring gear side.
sorry i dont understand. what is the diff cup side? and is the ring gear the bevel gear? on the rear diff which i just took apart has a shim behind the pin that holds the bevel gear in place. the front diff did not have that shim. are you saying i can move that shim somewhere else?
