Default RE: What gyros is out there?

I have finally gotten my new Leader Hobby Gy520, and what a gyro it is!?
I can not thank you enough for the tip about this little miracle!
How can it be this good, and this cheap?
I got it for 12USD, shipping included, from ebay, and its not just miles better than the HK401, its even cheaper than the HK401 too!
Why is HK401 the chinese working class hero, without a shadow of doubt it should have been the Gy520!
I have only gotten a short test flight so far, and so far I can not tell the difference between this Leader Hobby Gy520, and the Futaba Gy520, which a friend has on his T-rex 600.
I can absolutely recommend this gyro to anyone!
From a mindless piro rate of much more than 1 complete revolution a second, it comes to a dead stop immediately when I release the stick.
And with my active rudder usage, I can not notice any tail drift whatsoever.
I'm sure there is some if you hover for 30 minutes without touching the rudder, but that isn't my kind of flying so it doesn't bother me.

There was 3 downsides though. Just minor ones, but worth mentioning.
No manual included.
Manual is available on the internet, but its been google-translated from chinese (or at least appears to be) so its not easy to understand.
No mounting hardware included.

Once you get the hang of programming the gyro, its actually quite easy and intuitive. But first time programming it, without a proper manual is a bit frustrating.

But for 12$, you get a cracking good gyro, come on! You can't complain!
