Please help,

I have a TEU-101BK ESC which keeps beeping and flashing, I have a TT-01 Type E chassis, impreza wrc. everything standard with a Hi-tec Ranger II Transmitter at 27.045 Mhz.

Problem is, my car will work for about 5 secs, as soon as I start to go, maybe only a few feet, it seems as though it is going out of range, if i move transmitter towards the car, the beeping and flashing stops and I can move again... does this mean my transmitter is goosed? I have tried to reset my ESC and re-do the programming, but I cannot find any instructions on the manual to reset the ESC, just gives first time setup instructions, I have been trying for ages on and off, and I think something is wrong with a component or two.

Any advise will be appreciated, and I will follow any steps you can give me..

Please look at the pics attached, I do not know if my motor connectors are at the correct polarity as the motor doesnt seem to say which colour is which, although the manual states that the wires from the ESC are orange +, blue -.
