HV servos are good if you are running HV all-around... if you are using a std throttle servo you can use one of these
http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...odID=SPMVR5203 ...i predict servo companies will do away with HV servos due to the popularity of A123 and Life batteries
from 4.8 to 6v you can expect about a 20-25 % increase in power based
I don't know if we will see HV servos done away with, there are alot of guys that use Lipo for RX and if they don't have to regulate them they will be happier
(one less point of failure). It is nice to see that futaba is finally coming into the game with a reasonably priced digital servo. I am using LIFE on my
edge so I can use HV and standard voltage digitals without a regulator to my throttle servo.
One other note, if you are using A123, or LIFE cells, unregulated your standard voltage servos will have a little more output torque than if it is regulated
to 6volts, my airtronics 94851 are rated for 192 oz at 6 volts, but on my Life at 6.6 volts I see around 209oz
