Using :Digital Servo on Pull-Pull Rudder
I was planning to use a HS-5625 servo in a pull-pull configuration for rudder control on my Futana 90. As I read more about this setup, i'm starting to get discouraged about using it due to reports of servo burnout and high current draw due to the pull-pull wires being too tight. Is it really that difficult to achieve the correct tension on this setup. You can't err on the loose side due to the danger of excessive slop and resultant flutter potential. Is it sufficient to go just tight enough so that the servo doesn't buzz at neutral or do I really need to go to the trouble of buying a servo programmer and hooking up an ammeter to assure that there is no abnormal current draw when the rudder servo is in the neutral position?
