iv been balancing RC wheels sense day one.  i figured 1:1 wheels get ballanced, RC would be no different.

@378:  i just bought a used hpi sprint and i balanced the wheels that were on it.  they spin at such a high RPM.   it does make a big difference in how the car acts.  might want to give it a shot.  more control, even for a basher is never a bad thing
