Patterned Muffers ?
I've never seen this done but does anyone know of a way to cover the muffler to make blend it nicer with the plane. For example, the tower .61/75 muffler appears smooth and cylindrical through the middle. It would be fun if I could cover it with a type of ultra/monocote to match the plane, if it did not melt off. I'm quit sure ultracote wont take the heat, but does anyone have an idea of something that might. High heat paint/BBQ paint may work, for strictly a solid but it would be great to find a patterned solution, that will not interfere with the heat dissapation. Is there a thin high heat shrink wrap, etc, etc. Any idea's
