I started flying RC at the age of 36, and crashed about the same number of planes during the first few months of my involvement in this hobby. It certainly would have to my advantage both financially and time wise had I gotten out of the hobby. But this is something that I'd always wanted to do, so I chose to stay with it. Nearly 26 years later, I still find this hobby totally enjoyed and well worth the time and dollars spent. If this sometime you really want to do, hang in there and things will come together for you.
