Ok, here is what I am thinking- we will fly one or two rounds, raw scores so we can figure it out on a scratch pad. It will be fun, plus people will get an idea what classic pattern contest flights actually look like. We will fit it in amongst the other goings on that day. We will use the same schedules as at Bear Mtn. I will post a link so y'all can download and print a copy and start practicing.
You guys that have not flown a contest flight- the old timers will help coach you before hand to prep you if you choose to participate. No pressure- this is still a "non-event". That being said, I encourage you to give it a shot. You may like it.
I have enlisted the help of my lovely wife Jennifer to help out. She does not fly, but she can help out with scoring, etc. Plus she aint bad on the eye.
I ask anyone who is a shutterbug or knows how to operate a video camera to bring it and not be shy. It would be great to have a volume of photo/video documentation to post up.
