Well I killed my plane on Saturday. I was 15 flight/landings in, and simply got over confident. I was flying inverted, and made the mistake of trying to elevate but instictively pulled back. Most was fixable, and I need about $20 in parts, no biggie, but I simply made the mistake of flying too low doing stuff I hadn't practiced enough. I also sold a project car today, and treated myself to a Spektrum DX8! Not mad about crashing, cheap enough to fix, and it ''Put me in my place'' to keep me from getting over confident, and making me appreciate the importance of following basic rules untill I have enough flight time to have better instinc.
Not to discourage you.... but the first of many to come. You sound like you have the right attitude though. As long as you are having fun, that's all that counts. Carry on!
