RE: ASP/MAGNUM FS400AR Rebuild/Overhaul
Hi Tom, RCU has been having some issues past few days, and yes i a pleased with the new exhausts. i do have some extra elbows on pots 2 and 4 so that the exhaust residue was not straight in my face! on the videos it dosent sound much different i dont think, but when you are stood beside it there is a lovely soft rumble to it at low rpm. all i have to do now is fix up the plane it was and and get it in the air. if reliable then it will go in the sea fury. although i am tempted to try the 450 saito as its o/d is 250mm and the seafury cowl is 250mm. but tbh i dont think it will fit being that tight and i think it might be a little extreme for a 20lb warbird!
