Regarding the Fw190 i love them, and they do a have a 'screw with me and die' look. if you keep the weight to about 18/20 lbs it will be very scale in flight with good speed and energy retention due to the weight. this model is only 2 lbs more than my 80'' la7 with an engine of very similar power (and stonking performance) and about the same span and expected weight as the sea fury i want for my engine and about the same as the zero as well, so i dont think you will have any trouble. I would personally go for the 190 and have a go at chasing all the mustangs and thunderbolts down your local field!
Well I found a 90" wingspan "Butcher Bird" that should come in under 25#.

I was looking @ the Vailly Aviation FW190A-8 (pictured) but it's about 6# heavier than the Don Smith design. They're both whithin 1% of each other in scale, & the cowl of the VA 190 is 11" & the DS version should be similar in size so it should swallow up a Saito 450R3 W/room to spare.
