Thanks for the info. on B & B I have tried to contact them on several occasions. No one answers and the fax is not hook up. the .25 pilot and .50 bit is exactly what I need. Any thoughts on where else I might find one of these?
A piloted drill bit IS NOT a counterbore!
Be carefull here.
You can achieve the same thing as a piloted drill bit W/a 1/2" standard bit if you have a drill press. (which you should have in any case for this operation)
Besides, the hole in the priop needs to 7mm doesn't it? A 1/4" pilot will be useless unless you are just using a blank prop #W/a 1/4" pilot hole.
