Some racers run the 1/16 scale rally cars in practice mode and they do very well. Outside I run black springs in the front, brown springs in the rear, 60 wt. oil in the front, 50 wt. oil in the rear, Hot Racing sway bars front and rear, HPI x-patterns all around, and I keep a battery in both battery boxes to balance the car. I only connect one battery. I also run a smaller pinion.
