RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
There is something else we may want to consider down the road as we start to have flying events. We could consider collecting money for Children's Hospitals around the US and the world. 44 states have one or more hospitals and there are Children's Hospitals in many countries around the world as well. This would give us a somewhat higher purpose for the Brotherhood and enable us to give something back to children who need the help. Just another thought!
The club I fly with in Louisville, KY has raised more than $118,000 in the last 12 years for our local Children's Hospital through an RC airshow we call Wings for Kids. It's a great way to give purpose to your hobby.
