RE: Gefechtsauflaerer
The upper hull-
This was scratchbuilt using plastic card all hatches etc were also shaped from plastic card. The two fan grills where from a pantiger which were modified before adding mesh screens made from antispatter mesh used for cooking (bought two for a pound from a pound store)
The turret-
This was again made from plastic card and a heng long pershing turret base was fitted into the bottom.
All details again made from plastic card apart from the smoke launchers from Asiatam and the hatch hinges were cut of asiatam tiger 1 front hatches.
I left the turret roof as a seperate piece so I will have access to the turret interior, copied this idea from the tamiya tiger 1
I also added tamiya rollers to the upper hull for the turret to turn on
the mantlet was made up of circles of plasticcard of different sizes glued together and then milliput was added over the top for the final shape
