The instructions for the Royal kits are about as good as the ones for the Sterling kits, it quite common for the older kits to be like that, back when everyone was a builder. I found quite often with both I would have to replace some heavy balsa on critical components, sheathing was the wood that was a bit heavy in my opinion and quite often I substituted contest balsa for what they gave you.
