I have to give it to you bud. Several pot-stirrers have come to this thread and tried to derail it several times. I've seen numerous other propective members that packed up and left after a few back and forths. But you are determined to get the real information from the horse's mouth.
Most of the advise given here is based on solid logic. Some is based on personal experience. All of it comes from grown men that still play with toys.
So now that you have the basics, enjoy the hobby; use common sense and do not attract unnecessary attention to yourself or the RC hobby as a whole. I hope you know what I mean.

Well said man! I am enjoying the hobby. All three of my aircrafts have seen some small carnage (all easily repaired) and that is good I got the first crashes over with. I am learning to be more confident and am having fun too. Thanks for the tips man. :-)
