Hey JN,

Glad to see more people taking up flying in the area. I live just down the road in Holly Springs. My son and I were into the electric trucks, but now I'm jumping into flight as well. If you haven't checked out any local clubs yet you should definitely come by SWAMPS that was posted above:

Great group of people, everything flies there from smaller to giant scale (nitro and electric).

Very private field, and if you decide to join you can fly anytime you want.

Toy Town Hobby Shop in FV is where I got the planes. Otto and Anna gave me the flyer for the swamp and I am interested in it. Maybe I will see you at a local field some time. PM me if you ever want to fly sometime. PS I am a former Nitro Car/Truck racer too. The planes give me more of a rush though. :-)
