Enjoy the 220 you are modeling. The KV was always interesting to me as it was the heavy 'Tiger' tank until the German Tiger came out and greatly feared on the battlefield. Under rated in my estimation.
What was the top speed of the KV-220? Did it have the same power plant as the KV-I?

actualy NO... the power unit was much powerful than in KV-1 and KV-2...
It was V-2SN, 850 horse powerturbo diesel, but still the speed was 33 - 35 km/h . But for 62,3 tonns it is not bad in comparison with KV-1 (43,6 tonns) - 34-40 km/h.
