I mounted an inverted TT PRO .61 with an Ultra Thrust pipe down the left side and the plane flies great. It was a competitive Silver Class Warbird racer. Your pipe will not be a problem anywhere.

If I had it to do over I would have mounted the engine 90* to the right and had the pipe coming under the right wing. Invertyed motors for racing are a pain in the carburation department.<br type="_moz" />
