Similar overall power, but since lipos dont lose voltage like NIMHs do when being used, the power will last longer, making it feel like the lipo has more power.

Thanks for the replies. I am so stoked to get into lipos! My friends all think my car is fast on a 7-cell, wait until I whip out the 11.1v! I've recently become somewhat of a speed demon mainly because I used to break something every other run when bashing. Also my onroad setup for my Pede looks really bad*****.
Just out of curiousity, as far as performance goes how would a 2s lipo compare to a 7-cell nimh of equal capacity?
