Thanks for the reply, guys. For now, the engine is going onto an airboat I built. I will fly it at some point down the road.

Since it will idle good at 2900, I'll use that as my reference for setting the needles. The throttling seems very similar to my Enya ss30 - not real linear. It does seem to behave pretty well though.

On the tuned pipe/colder plug/higher nitro bit - I don't plan to run any more nitro. I'll test different plugs though. When you tune the header, you're more or less tuning to a specific prop/prop load, right?
