I recently bought Model Power Boats by Norman G. Taylor.  I am about half way through it now, really interesting stuff and lots to take on.  It was written 50 years ago so some of the technology based topics are a bit outdated but the physics stays the same (it smells good too).  Converting imperial to metric is a bit of a challenge.  So watch this space!!
