Default RE: C-Arf SF 260 TP build thread

I almost bought this version to mount my Wren 54TP as well, but I liked the red color so went with the Carf supplied TP version. It is definetly possible to put a TP in this version however it will take some modifications to the front fuse area. For the Wren, this would be easy since it mounts
on a central and balanced radial mount with 6 bolts. The JC will be a bit trickier since it has rail AND front mounts but is still possible to do..just requires a bit of extra engineering to get it to be sturdy and tidy. If you look earlier in this post you can see how I did the Wren. One nice thing is thatthe firewall already has the proper right thrust built in. On my install, I left the front LG door off and cut the top of the front wheel well off to allow intake air to the TP. On your version the intake of the TP will be inside the front of the fuse so you might have to make similar arrangements. Good luck with your project. I suspect we will be seeing a lot of these in the skies soon!

P.S talk to Mike Murphy @ Wren, perhaps he can supply you with a 54TP... much easier to mount, all you need is to fab a ring and attach it (see pic )
to the sturdy front fuse at the correct distance and angle!!!
