Had one of those moments last night...i was reading my King Tiger vs IS2 book and it hit me thatthe IS3/JS3 have the same number of road wheels as the KV1. When you look at it you find this....
KV1....L=6.75m,W=3.32m
IS3.....L=10.0m,W=3.2m
That means the IS3 was almost 3.25m longer with the same number of road wheels and .12m thiner( thats about 4 inches).....the rear deck is not very hard to make and the turret does not look that hard to doether...........I could really see cutting up a hl kv1 to make one of these......so many tanks, so little time....
