Not sure I understand the business model now.
When based in HK they send out goods sourced cheaply no vat and packaged by low paid staff. The HK operation is nicely sited so customer care can be non existent .
The recipients often do not pay import duties. They have few competitors.
Based in the UK they will employ local staff at UK rates, have to pay correct import duties and charge 20% vat. They must be more expensive than imports direct from China. They will face the stiff competition from direct imports that the UK model shops have faced. Also they will face UK regulations for goods warrantees and Fair Trading laws. I fear that they may go the same way as the local hobby shops that have closed.
