I wanted some Lipos, looked at HK, out of stock, looked at the cost of getting them from their Euro depot, too expensive for delivery etc. so in the end I got them from G.Cod, paid a bit more for the Lipo but cheap postage, and they arrived a day later, couldn't be bothered with the agro from HK[>:]
I bought 2 tipple lipos from G.Cod and two HK zippy lipos, at the same time, and flew them in the same plane. The HK ones were cheaper but were noticeably a bit lower on power right from the start and a bit shorter on flight time too. With lipo prices so relatively low at G.Cod already and the tipples performing so well, I saw no advantage to HKs yet lower prices when their performance was poorer.
