hmm 3 good ideas here. I like the simplicity of the DW Valve but I dont want to wait for the shipping.

Roy's idea works..but I dont have the valve on top like his(WHY? I dont know) so I wouldnt be able to turn the gas off at the tank.

And DaveW has the similest of all Ideas. just use a propellent top. I had no Idea they would fit. I have about 3 of them in house..so Ill have to give it a try.
