Finishing up an article on the FlySky 9X radio system as a low cost sailplane radio, including a firmware upgrade and upgrade to the FrSky system. Idon't recall if you have been in any of the discussions. Search on FlySky TH9X and you should find some of discussions where Ihave been gathering information. looks like you should be able to come up with an highly functional full house sailplane radio for about $180 and a little work.
