Can you set up X-Plane ''camera'' to where the view/perspective is stationary on the ground with the scene following the plane? IE like you were flying a model?? And the controller as your transmitter with set up as per an RC situation?? ?
Hi.

Yes, you can set up the camera to a stationary view on the ground, and the scene will follow the plane.
Now, X-Plane is not a designated RC simulator - For example You will have to manage the zoom by yourself since there is no auto-zoom.

For the controller issue: Again, it is not a designated RC SIM, But you can use any controller that you computer recognise.

It seems like a lot of issues, and it's true. But when it comes to simulation it's very realistic (you will need to use a fine tuned models).
