Thoughts on Glens Cap 232 120
I flew a 68 inch glens cap with an asp 120 in it for a year, and then put a moki135 in it. I never really got to know the moki combo as I lost it in a mid air.
With the ys120 you are looking at 8 1/2 to 9 lbs - with very good vertical - maybe unlimited.
As an IMAC plane its fine, may be a little on the small side - most IMAC competitors seem to fly big. But there is no reason why you cant be competitive with the cap. The design of the cap is such that Knife edge will require a tiny amount of aileron mix and a fair bit of elevator mix. Snaps and tumble manouevers are its forte. My guess is that the Extra may be a slightly better IMAC competitor, although I havent flown the Extra.
3d - its very good. Harriers are stable, knife edge loops are excellent (use a powerfull servo 6KG torque or more). KE spins and blenders were awesome.
The build is a doddle. As Edible says think about beefing up the u/c mount, as once you break it, due to its construction its difficult to repair. Make the leading edge a bit blunter at the tips if you want to 3d more than IMAC.
good luck
