hey hooleydog your best bet would be to change the 23mm hexes and fit 17mm hexes with an 8mm center shaft hole which will give you more wheel & tire choices. i have done this on my modified gsr 5.0 and im running traxxas revo 3.3 wheels with traxxas e revo 3.8 chevron tires hope this helps
