I can relate to you problem as I am direly in need of a canopy for a Jack Stafford Ercoupe .They too are out of business.
I am thinking of restoring the model after its many years of flying.
I purchased the finished model from a club member thinking the canopy was readily available.
The model ,completely flyable, is in need of recovering with the exception of the wing . It is in remarkable condition requiring a little rubbing compound and TLC
I've rebuilt the cowl which accomodates an OS 52 Surpass and maybe a Saito 56 4 stroke. I just need the canopy to light the spark of interest to get me going.
If anyone knows where I might get one ,PLEASE let me know
