This really brings back some old models. I built this little plane when I was a kid...then a Cox .049 costing $2.98 and with the kit... five bucks or so. Now at 65 years old...remembering these first days in my flying really brings a smile to my day. The Dakota I built was free flight and I lost it on my first flight. It hit a thermal and went out of sight after the engine run. I chased that model on my bike with a bunch of my buddies at the time, and we were never able to recover the model. It was a neat little bi-plane... : )
