I've put them in bags for the last few years. It seems to reduce warping and affects on the wood.

My "shed" has no heating and leaks in cold air. It is not fully sealed from the elements too, but it is fully protected from rain.

I've taken to bagging everything that is remotely perishible or affected by humidity and temperature changes.
