This was it's first trip out and the owner decided to sell it at his soonest opportunity.  Neither of us other two made him an offer.  It looks great; but flies like a small foam model (I'm really the wrong guy to ask about small foam models).  Surprisingly long time to pop free of the surface.  The Mentor flew circles around it; and I'm seriously infatuated with my Saratoga and have love goggles where she is concerned.

 

Actually, the Icon flies like a real plane.  Throttle for altitude, not especially aerobatic.  Probably pretty scale for a pusher amphibian.  It seemed to fly like the full-size SeaBee that was flown off a lake we used to keep a sailbooat on.  It will get you on the water and above it - that's what counts.</p>
