Default Fly Eagle 1/7 F-15E Build thread

I got the notice today my F-15 shipped and normal time is around 4-5 days so it should be here by Monday. I wasn't going to do any more build threads but since I received LOTS of pms from people it helped and I enjoy building I figured why not. I have an F-14 that will be right behind it so more than likely I will be building both at the same time.
These two build will be longer than my last since it will take time to outfit these two large models and I may have to stop the builds down the road for a while. That all depends on the Army and its cut backs [:@] thanks Obama argg anyway so don’t expect a turtle race, plus I may head to Afghanistan for a year so we’ll see. I orig wanted to get the F-14 done for Kentucky jets but due to unexpected things and now possible boot from the Army I am being smart about things just in case.

So let me start off by inviting anyone who has experience with either of these two models to post any info or lessons learned to help myself and anyone else who comes along.
Also remember this is for fun and to help new builders with these models. I will post first the first video the day it arrives just like last time giving you the run down from the get go.

I have special color schemes for these two jets which I will give more detail on later, the f-15 was in Mr. Djs video but they had to repaint due to a mix up so I am hoping the paint turns out okay. The F-14 is taking a little longer due to the one of a kind paint scheme if it turns out like the pictures it will be a head turner for sure!

for everyone wondering my order for both went in the first week of February so I would say it’s about average build times, they held off on shipping the f-15 since I wanted electric retracts but they just having developed them yet so mine will ship with all air and I will convert the gear to electric later once they design a set. That added a couple weeks of delay but average time seems to be 3-4 months.

Last thing I wanted to say is I will not get pulled into product bashing or any hear say, if you don’t have facts to support your issue then it’s just opinion. Don’t get me wrong I like opinions and feedback, it makes for great discussion and people learn from it. I don’t mind such things, I actually encourage it just be respectful.

Most important enjoy the build and feel free to ask questions
