Sport: I never though of FPV as a free speech issue. But your concern is commendable. I, along with others, see FPV not as model aviation per se, but as another technology layered on top of model aviation. Which in itself is not a bad thing. But, there are some risks added by the technology that need to be dealt with. I think the AMAis trying to determine if the membership will support efforts to allow FPV to fly safely. Definite not to deny you a voice in club activities. Instead, it appears to be just the opposite, since the survey is available to all members.
