If a marshal isn't doing his job, I'm going to yell at him. He took it upon himself to volunteer, he better be on his feet. We have a marshal at my local track who is probably the laziest person ever.
What burns me is the guy who drove the last heat and now he's
required to marshall the next race, but he shows no enthusiasm and stands in the middle of the field on his phone. When your car goes nuts up, he finally lazily walks over to it after about 15 seconds of not realizing you're in trouble. I like when some random kid shows up and wants to be part of the RC action so we tell him, "go help flip all the crashed cars and put them back on the track." It makes their day and they will actually sprint over to a crashed car!
