As the temps and humidity go up the prop bite will decrease, especially noticeable with weak batteries. Sometimes even noticeable during the course of a day. When I flew glow in the olden days, I thought this was due to the cumbustion process. Now I estimate that 2/3 power increase in cooler weather is due to prop bite. Maybe this is causing the sluggish performance you are observing.
