Scale tyres are sold in tiny numbers, I've had a set in stock 2 years, to carry that value on a return a business needs a margin!
The hobby deals with small numbers and no matter what you see, people are not making lots of money. The Hobby shop dept in England is huge and when its called in things will implode!

Dave, I certainly appreciate that everyone needs to make money, I do in my business as well. I have no problem with people making a reasonable profit. I guess the market will tell whether CARF can get away with overcharging on parts and 30% price increases.
I found my Hawk tires in the USA at a dealer who stocks Airtech as some of their aircraft share the same gear. They were $15 each vs $49 from CARF. That dealer made a profit, CARF's price was just not fair.
